FEBRUARY 10 + 11, 2018
The Lunar Market is a Lunar New Year themed pop-up makers market hosted at Artists & Fleas with a goal of raising $10,000 for Charles B Wang Community Health Center (CBWCHC). The event will feature unique artwork, apparel, jewelry, homewares and body care products made by Asian Americans and/or inspired by Asian culture. Participants that donate $25 or more to the CBWCHC will be invited to the closing reception with refreshments, live music, and raffle prizes provided by our generous sponsors.
The event will be held on Saturday, February 10 and Sunday, February 11 at Artists & Fleas in Soho, located at 568 Broadway New York, NY 10012.
For decades, the Charles B Wang Community Health Center has provided quality healthcare services to the underserved community in New York. In 2017, they announced plans to expand and build Healthview, a state-of-the-art, multi-story facility in the heart of Flushing. It is projected to serve over 25,000 new patients and create significant long-term employment opportunities. To learn more about Healthview, please click the link below.
This event is about more than fundraising for one health center. It is about bringing together a community and supporting the past generations that have laid the foundation for Asian Americans in this country, as well as the future generations that will continue to contribute to our growing culture. Without the help of our generous sponsors, this event would not be possible.
